That is the tag line for the feature length UNINTERRUPTED film: “FIGHT MOM.” The documentary follows the story of “The Karate Hottie” Michelle Waterson who competes as a strawweight in the UFC and balances her family and the rigors of professional MMA.
In this exclusive interview, I spoke with the films director Sean Menard about the process of making the film, the inspiration that Michelle delivers, and what he hopes viewers will draw from her story.
